Plugg makes it easy to export any of your collections (apps) as a csv file.
 
To export your records:
  1. Open the app you want to export
  2. Click on the import/export button in the app toolbar (see image below)
  3. Select Export CSV from the drop-down menu
  4. Choose a name for your csv file and click on Export
 
When exporting records, you can choose to include the system IDs generated by Plugg in the export; this is very useful if you want to re-import records at a later time.
 
You can  monitor the progress of the export on the bottom right corner of your page:
  • Blue spinning wheel = Export in progress
  • Wheel stops spinning and turns green = Export completed (see image below)
 
 
An important note: exporting a csv file is a background process that can take several minutes to complete, depending on the volume of records you are exporting. During an export you can safely navigate away from the export page to other apps or records in Plugg, but make sure not to close or refresh your browser page before the export is completed or the process will be cancelled.
 
Your export file will be saved in your private file folder (on left sidebar) where you can download it to your hard drive.
 
To download your export file:
  1. Open your private file folder (see image below)
  2. Right click on the export file and select Download
  3. Choose a destination on your hard drive
