When you open an app, records are displayed in List View by default. You can also switch to Tile View, Group View, or Scroll View at any time. Your view preferences are saved individually for each app and only affect your workspace.

List View

List View displays records in a table format and is the default view for all apps.

In addition to viewing records, List View supports:

  • Showing or hiding columns
  • Filtering records
  • Sorting records by any column
  • Changing the number of records displayed per page
  • In-line editing
  • Bulk editing

Note: List View is the only view that supports in-line editing and bulk editing.

Show or Hide Columns

Customize which fields are displayed in the table.

  1. Click the Column Selection button in the toolbar.
  2. Select the columns you want to display.
  3. Deselect any columns you want to hide.

Your selections are saved automatically for that app.

Filter Records

Use filters to quickly find the records you need.

You can filter records by the value of any field, allowing you to focus on a specific subset of data without modifying the underlying records. You can also combine multiple filters to create more advanced views of your data.

For detailed instructions, see Filter Records in List View.

Sort Records

To sort records by a column:

  1. Locate the column you want to sort by.
  2. Click the column's Sort icon.

Click the icon again to reverse the sort order.

Change the Number of Records Per Page

To adjust how many records are displayed:

  1. Locate the Records Per Page setting in the toolbar.
  2. Select the desired number of records.

Tip: Displaying a very large number of records and columns may slow down your browser.

Tile View

Tile View (also known as Kanban View) organizes records into columns based on the value of a selected field. This view is ideal for tracking workflows and status changes.

To switch to Tile View:

  1. Open an app.
  2. Click the Tile View button in the toolbar.

In Tile View, records can be updated by dragging them between columns.

  1. Click and hold a record tile.
  2. Drag it to a different column.
  3. Release the tile to update the record.

Note: Tile View supports grouping by a single field only. Multi-level grouping is not available in this view.

Group View

Group View organizes records into expandable groups based on one or more fields.

To switch to Group View:

  1. Open an app.
  2. Click the Group View button in the toolbar.

Unlike Tile View, Group View supports multi-level grouping, allowing records to be organized by multiple fields simultaneously. This makes it easy to explore complex datasets and quickly see record counts within each group.

Scroll View

Scroll View

Scroll View displays records one at a time in a carousel-style interface, making it easy to browse through records without opening each one individually.

To switch to Scroll View:

  1. Open an app.
  2. Click the Scroll View button in the toolbar.
  3.

Note: Records cannot be edited while using Scroll View.
