In-line Editing (also known as Bulk Editing) turns your records into a spreadsheet-like view, allowing you to edit data without opening individual records.
Enable In-line Editing
To enter Edit Mode:
- Open the app in List View.
- Click the Edit Mode button in the toolbar.
The list will switch to a spreadsheet-style view where each cell can be edited directly.

- Click Show/Hide Columns.
- Select the columns you want to display.
For more information, see Choose How Records Are Displayed.
Edit Individual Records
To edit a single value:
- Click the cell you want to modify.
- Enter the new value.
Changes remain pending until they are saved.
Edit Multiple Records at Once
To apply the same value to multiple records:
1. Select the records you want to update. To select all records currently displayed, click the checkbox in the top-left corner of the table.
2. Click the header of the column you want to edit.
3. Enter the new value.
The change will be applied to all selected records.
Save Your Changes
When you are finished editing:
- Verify that all modified records are still selected.
- Click the green Save button in the toolbar.
Important: Changes are only saved for records that are selected at the time you click Save.
Tips
- Use Filters to narrow down the records you want to edit.
- Use the Search function to quickly locate specific records.
- When editing many records, displaying a large number of rows and columns may slow down your browser. Consider limiting the number of visible rows or columns while editing.
